When someone comes to the altar for prayer they can be assured that someone will pray passionately for whatever they need. Some people come forward not knowing what they want or expect but God is very gracious and merciful to meet with us right where we are.

You don’t have to get your life cleaned up before you come and receive prayer here but you can be sure that after you have an encounter with a living God, you will be changed. God is very much interested in our daily lives. Because He is a God of Promise & Covenant He has real power and authority to bring us into real life and we see this happening at the altar every service.

At the altar many persons experience salvation; God adopts people to come into His wonderful family; He gives those who are hungry the ecstasy of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit; through Him relationships can be restored; He heals physical & emotional sickness when all seems lost and He brings deliverance to those in bondage or depression.

All of this occurs often at the Calvary Christian Center’s altars because we know that Jesus cares for everyone and has abundant power & authority to transform life. He fills us with compassion and concern for the hurting of the world. All of our altar workers have received training in how to pray and can be recognized by their “Altar Ministry ” name badge. Our desire is to assist the Holy Spirit in doing whatever He wants at the altar because this is what He does best of all.
