Dear Family and Friends,

Welcome to Calvary Christian Center. Thank you for visiting with us today. Our mission as the Greeters’ Team is to welcome you, and show you God through our love and compassion. Our primary task is to create an atmosphere of love, unity and enthusiasm. We do our work in the power of the Holy Spirit, serving one another, bringing glory to God, and making people like you feel at home.

Our primary Christian purpose is to serve. Greeters are the hosts for God’s house – the doorkeepers who serve those who enter His sanctuary. We do not do anything out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility, we consider others better than ourselves. We do not look to our own interests, but to the interest of others. We welcome people as they are and not as he or she might wish to be.

We want you to feel welcome in God’s house! Anyone can pass out bulletins, but it takes someone special to stand at God’s door and welcome everyone coming through with love and compassion. We chose to be a part of the Greeters Ministry because we care deeply about people. God loves you and has a purpose for your life. He is waiting for you to come home. We are waiting for you too; so what’s keeping you away? Come worship with us…We miss you…Welcome home!
