Hello !

What an awesome time to be serving the Lord! My name is Phyllis Cantrell and this is my very first year with Women's Ministry. I am excited to see what the Lord is going to do. I know that 2009 is going to be a great year! The Lord has placed many things on my heart for the Women's ministry in this coming year. We would like to reach out to the community to those who are hurting and need the encouragement of the Lord and reach into our church and minister to those who need nurturing and want to grow and mature spiritually. This is a year of changes and I challenge you to get in the boat and go to the other side with me and see what the Lord is going to do. I know you won't be disappointed.

2009 will be a year of "Fanning into flame" the gift of God.
I Thessalonians 1:11-12 "With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of His calling, and that by His power He may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith. We pray this that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in Him. According to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ."

Our Purpose
To grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus (Spiritual Growth)
Devote ourselves to the teaching of the word and prayer (Discipleship)
Enjoy the fellowship of one another (Unity)
Reach out to our community (Outreach)
